This magnificent estate, looking out on the South Dublin Mountains, is open to the public from 10.00am -5.00pm, seven days a week, and bank holidays. It is situated on 35 acres of farmland with ornate gardens, a gift shop and a restaurant. The out buildings have been converted into print and photographic studios and there is a vintage car museum containing a 1927 Rolls Royce, a Peugeot, also purchased in the 1920’s and a 1936 Austin Tickford.

The working farm has a number of different breeds of cattle including Jersey, Aberdeen Angus, Chaolais and Belgian. Blue, donkeys, sheep, pigs, goats, varied poultry, and miniature Shetland ponies. Airfield runs an extensive education programme involving schools throughout Dublin and an arts programme featuring concerts, exhibitions, workshops, visual arts and photography.

In addition to the thousands of trees planted recently and to increase the bio diversity of the area, the Airfild wet woodland will be opened to the public at the end of July adding to this exciting oasis of nature just ten minutes from Dublin city.
